Cleaning pet hair from car floor mats without vacuum?
My rubber car mats are textured and dog hair gets stuck in all the little grooves. I hate dragging the shop-vac inside every time. Is there a fast, no-mess way to get the hair out when I’m in a hurry?

Textured rubber mats trap hair like crazy. Beating them outside works for big clumps, but the fine stuff stays. What’s saved me tons of time is a two-step trick: first wipe them down with a barely damp rag to loosen everything, then go over with sticky adhesive. I always have 1 lint roller in the trunk—it picks up the hair cleanly without getting gummed up like tape does on wet surfaces. Roll hard in one direction, peel, repeat. Takes maybe three minutes total and the mats look decent again. Much easier than vacuuming in tight car space.
