Hey everyone, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with my outdoor photography lately. I love capturing the beauty of nature, but every time I go hiking, I find myself hauling around way too much gear. Last weekend, I thought I’d bring my DSLR, a couple of lenses, and my tripod to get the perfect landscape shots. But halfway up the trail, I was regretting that decision! I was so focused on lugging my heavy backpack that I missed some great shots. How do you all manage your equipment? Any tips? While I see the benefits of that harness, I think it’s also worth considering a different approach. I’ve switched to using a lightweight mirrorless camera for my outdoor shoots, and it’s been a game changer. Instead of dragging around my old DSLR setup, I can just grab my compact camera and hit the trails without the extra weight. It’s made my hikes way more enjoyable, and I still get fantastic shots. Sometimes, going lighter is the best way to keep your focus on capturing those beautiful moments!
