How to Play Paper IO
Playing paper io is straightforward, but mastering it requires skill and strategy.
Move Your Square – Use the arrow keys (on a computer) or swipe on the screen (on mobile) to move in four directions.
Expand Your Territory – Move outside your base and return to it to claim new land. The area enclosed by your trail becomes part of your territory.
Defend Your Trail – Your trail is vulnerable when you're outside your territory. If another player crosses it, you lose.
Eliminate Opponents – If you cut through another player's trail before they complete their loop, they are eliminated.
Survive and Dominate – The longer you stay in the game, the more land you claim and the higher your rank on the leaderboard.
