What were your impressions of your trip to Marina Lav in Split?

Has anyone here sailed from Marina Lav before? My friends and I are planning a big trip through Croatia in June, and we want to rent a sailboat for a week to follow the Brač–Hvar-Vis route. As you can imagine, there are countless starting point options in Dalmatia, but we've narrowed it down to one location near Split. Could you share your impressions of GetBoat service and logistics? I've heard it's good. How convenient is the Marina Lav Croatia is located a bit away from the very center of Split, and are there any issues with the transfer from the airport, since we’re worried about traffic jams during the season? I’ve heard there’s a really cool vibe there and there are even Italian restaurants right on the premises, but I’d like to know if it’s too fancy and expensive compared to the city docks.

We actually set off from there last September, and it was probably the best choice! Marina Lav is part of a luxury resort, so it’s much quieter than Split's chaotic port. The airport is only 8 km away, and we got there in about 15 minutes without running into any traffic. The grounds are well-maintained, the showers are clean, and the Wi-Fi is fast. After a day at sea, dinner at the local restaurant is a real treat. We rented the paddleboards through the same service that we used for the boat, so they were already waiting for us on board. This is the perfect starting point for Hvar—access to the sea is very convenient. Are you planning a seven-day trip? I highly recommend stopping by Vis—there are incredible blue caves there!
