Make the Road PA members of 18 house and senate districts joined ally organizations for a Rally and Lobby Day at the state capitol on Tuesday because we have a huge opportunity in front of us to pass the Whole-Home Repairs Act this budget season.
We can take our historic budget surplus and use it to make a real and permanent change in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people all across Pennsylvania. The Whole-Home Repairs Act is a bipartisan bill that creates a one-stop-shop for home repairs and weatherization while building out our local workforce and adding new family-sustaining jobs in a growing field. This bill has already received national attention and recognition! Pennsylvania can be a leader in preserving affordable housing and building a strong local workforce capable of meeting the demands of a growing industry.
